Connect an Exchange API

Bybit

1. Log in to Bybit, then open your profile at the top right and click API.

2. On the API Management page, click the Create New Key button at the top right.

3. For the API type, select System-generated API Keys at the top.

4. Select API Transaction.
5. Enter any name for the API.
6. In the permission settings, select Read-Only and No IP restriction.

7. Check every item exactly as shown in the screenshot.
8. Submit and complete the verification, and the API key is created.
9. Copy and save your API Key and Secret Key, then enter them when connecting your exchange in Tradex.

Bitget

1. Log in to Bitget, then open your profile at the top right and click API Keys.

2. On the API Keys page, click the Create New Key button at the top right.

3. For the API type, select System-generated API Key at the top.

4. Enter any name for the API.
5. In the permission settings, select Read-Only and click Select all to check every item.
6. You can leave the Bind IP Addresses field empty.
7. Submit and complete the verification, and the API key is created.
8. Copy and save your API Key and Secret Key, then enter them when connecting your exchange in Tradex.

OKX

1. Log in to OKX and click your profile at the top right.

2. Click the API and connections page.

3. Click the Create New Key button at the top right.

4. Enter any name for the API.
5. Under Permissions, select Read.
6. You can leave the Trusted IP access field empty.
7. Set a Passphrase you’ll remember, and write it down.
8. Submit and complete the verification, and the API key is created.
9. Copy and save your API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase, then enter them when connecting your exchange in Tradex.

Gate

1. Log in to Gate.io and click your profile at the top right.

2. Click the API Management page.

3. Click Create API Key at the top right.

4. Set the account type to Third-Party App.

5. Enter any name for the API.
6. Set IP Permissions to Later.
7. Set the API Key Type to API v4 Key.
8. Under Permissions, enable Perpetual Futures and Margin Trading (Unified Account), and select Read-Only.
   (If you also want to record spot trading data, enable Spot Trading as well.)
9. Click Submit.

10. Agree to the terms.

11. Complete the security verification and the API key is created.
12. Copy and save your API Key and Secret Key, then enter them when connecting your exchange in Tradex.
